All COACHES must follow the COPL/OCL Program Code of Conduct
If a PARENT/SPECTATOR is sent-off from a game, the parent will serve a 2-game suspension to be enforced by the team manager and team coach. Coaches are required to provide the name of the parent/spectator who is removed at the time of removal to the Referee. A suspended parent/spectator that comes to a game during their suspension will result in the game being forfeited and the coach and manager being suspended from the next 2-games
If there is a second incident of a PARENT/SPECTATOR send-off from the same team, the parent will be suspended for a 12 month period effective the day of the removal. In addition, the PARENT/SPECTATOR will be on probation for two years. If, during the probationary period the PARENT/SPECTATOR is removed, again, the suspension will be for a 24 month period with five years probation.
If a COACH is sent-off from a game, the coach will serve a 1-game suspension from coaching that team. A second send-off will result in a two week suspension from coaching ANY TEAM IN THE CLUB that participates in the COPL/OCL Program. In addition, the coach will be placed on probation for 12 months. If a coach is sent off while on probation, the coach will be suspended from coaching ANY TEAM IN THE CLUB that participates in the COPL/OCL Program for a period of 30 days and will be placed on probation for 24 months.
If a COACH received FOUR Yellow Cards during the Season, the coach will serve a 1-game suspension from coaching that team. If a parent/spectator or coach enters the field of play prior to/during/following a game for the purpose of addressing, challenging, threatening, arguing with, etc. a referee, player or coach will be suspended for a minimum of 12 months. If the parent/spectator makes contact with a referee, player or coach while on the field, the parent/spectator will be banned for life and turned over to USClub Soccer for further discipline as appropriate. Exceptions are made for parents/spectators and coaches being beckoned on to the field to address and injured player. Parents/spectators need to stay outside the white lines! Coaches are to remain in their technical areas as well.
